Obituary for Reuben Morse

Reuben  Morse
BEVERLY - Reuben Morse, age 80 years, of Beverly, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Beverly Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Conrad) Morse. Born in Beverly, dear son of the late John F. and Gladys M. (Chapman) Morse.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Navy.
Mr. Morse had been employed for many years as a Machinist. He also worked at the Beverly Senior Center.
Reuben enjoyed fishing, taking vacations and playing pool. He also enjoyed making home movies and talking on his CB radio.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Charles Morse of Clearwater, FL, Richard Morse and his wife Suzanne of Ipswich, Scott Morse of Beverly and Michael Morse of Beverly; one sister, Mary Ellen Rowell of Beverly; five grandchildren, Danielle, Jenna, Melissa, Deander and Justin; five great grandchildren, Giuliana, Michela, Callie, Ronan and Charlotte; one brother-in-law, Richard H. Conrad of Topsfield and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Jean DiMarzo and John Morse.
Reuben’s Funeral Service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 1:30 PM. Interment will be private. Visiting hours prior to the service on Tuesday from 11:30-1:30 PM. Contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
