Joan Florence Paddol (Brown)
BEVERLY: Joan F. (Brown) Paddol, 82, died Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Ledgewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of John A. Paddol.
Born in Gloucester on June 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James and Irene (Veno) Brown. A graduate of Gloucester High School, she was raised in Gloucester and has resided in Beverly for over sixty years.
Joan was an avid horsewomen and has won ribbons in her younger years. She enjoyed playing bingo at various local establishments and especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of fifty-one years, she is survived by her children, Michael Regan and his wife, Judy, Andrea Cagney, Irene Tassone and Jay Paddol and his wife, Jill; stepchildren, John M. Paddol and his wife, Jean, Michael Paddol and his wife, Nancy and Leann Larochelle and her husband, Roger; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her beloved dog, “Sailor” and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her three sisters, Winifred Maloney, Mary Hurley and Jean Soper.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly at 12 noon. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
