Obituary for Russell T. Hurd

Beverly - Russell T. Hurd 75, husband of Elizabeth H. (Malley) Hurd, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Beverly Hospital.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Russell T. Sr. and Gwendolyn (Andt-Hurd) Johnson. He was raised in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School.
A longtime resident of Beverly, Mr. Hurd was an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed the Bruins, Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots and could often be seen watching a game on television.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Randi O’Malley Smith and her husband, Scott of Beverly, a sister, Thora Paolini and her husband, John of Cape Coral, FL and nieces and nephews. He was also the step son of the late Carl Johnson.
His funeral service will be held graveside, at the North Beverly Cemetery, Cabot Street, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
