Obituary for
Daniel D. Roberts
Nottingham, NH, formerly of Hamilton - Daniel D. Roberts 66, beloved husband of Linda L. (Bona) Roberts, died Monday morning, October 2, 2017 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire surrounded by his family.
Born in Danvers, he was the son of the late David and Jean (MacLean) Roberts. He was raised in Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School. An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Navy.
Mr. Roberts had been employed by the Landmark School in Beverly Farms until the time of his retirement. Prior to that he had worked with his father-in-law, Elliott Hewitt, in the family business, Hewitt Construction for twenty five years.
In addition to his wife, with whom he shared forty three years of marriage, he is survived by a daughter, Shayne Ostrowski and her husband, Mark of Hamilton, a son, Jeremy Roberts and his wife, Allyn of Jackson, NH, four grandchildren, James and Colby Ostrowski and Austin and Hunter Roberts, a sister, Patricia Swasey and her husband, Frank of Salem, nieces and nephews and his two loyal pet dogs, “Bo” and “Diesel.” He was also the brother of the late John “Pete” Roberts and Robin Roberts.
His funeral service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Friday at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
